Tribute page to George Smith

George Smith joined the club in 1994, he was a person who was absolutely passionate about riding and representative of the types of people who joined Two Wheels Social and Touring Club as long time member. While George was not that interested in the administrative part of a club and as such didn’t put his name forward for committees, he would always help out by leading rides or offering good advice. When club member numbers declined a bit around 2000, he would ride with Ulysses, BMW and IMOC and often would convince them to join our club. He did a number of away trips, including a few overseas. He has certainly been a valuable member of the club and contributed to its ongoing success. He will be missed.
